Currently run a small computer repair and networking business out of my home. Take care of a Realty Offices Network and peripheral equipment, a Video stores network and peripheral equipment, and volunteer IT Manager at Ava Victory Academy a small non-profit school doing all of their required IT work. Responsible for design, setting up and configuring MDF equipment and IDF equipment for customers.Responsibilities include installation and set up of Edward Jones offices over a large mid-west territory. Provide product service and installation for Cisco equipment, printers, and desktop systems for numerous clients. Manage installation teams for Hotel High Speed Internet projects for many clients. Maintain servers and upgrades, network support, and management for various clients. Wireless design, implementation and troubleshooting of Cisco, Colubris, HP, Bel-Air, Motorola and many other manufactures networks. Level 3 phone support for field staff and some customers for networks. Experienced in using different WIFI design soft ware like Colubris and Air Magnet, as well as using Visio to lay out network designs.Train staff in the operation and troubleshooting of systems.Maintenance of networks and equipment once installed. During the past 10 years I have done work for clients such as Sprint, Verizon, General Dynamics, Dollar Rent-a-Car, Starwood Hotels, ICHG, NXTV, Superclick, IBAHN, Evergreen Aviation, Edward Jones Investments and Anheuser Busch. Proxim wireless training provided by a Proxim engineer.
