I ran the research laboratory investigating aspects of stroke and sub-arachnoid haemorrhage. I developed models, trained technicians, supervised post graduate researchers and was co-author on several papers and main author of a review article published in the Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism.

I developed histological methods to measure the growth rates of cancer cells in-vivo, using radioactive labelled drugs and autoradiography, to investigate the efficacy of chemo-therapy and radio-therapy regimes. I trained technicians and supervised research projects.
