Throughout my extensive career at ABB, I held several leadership positions and earned several promotions, gaining responsibility and accountability for ensuring customer focus and optimal management of operations to improve profitability and overall business growth performance. Hired as a PM in 2000 managing T & D projects, 2006 I was promoter to Construction and Operations manager in a consortium of Morgan Sindall, Atkins, National Grid and ABB. I built an operations team made up of 85 staff and circa 350 subcontracted blue-collar employees that delivered over £600m of infrastructure investment. I served as ABB representative at National Grid's supervisory board meetings and presented safety, commercial, and risk management data to NG executive management. 2010 promoted to General Manager for ABB Substation, UK, I ensured the development & timely delivery of profitable growth strategies in the Utilities and Rail sectors. I built & maintained solid relations with new and existing customers while guiding implementation of new business processes, SOX, OSA, and SAP. From 2014, I was promoted to Regional Hub Manager for UK & Ireland covering 4 business unit P & L's (£150m) ranging from major turnkey EPC build to small Service & Maintenance activities. I improved profitability and growth by identifying business efficiencies, synergies & collaborations. In 2016, as part of a development plan, I moved into a European Sales & Marketing Manager position to help develop greater awareness of the market and customer base. 2017 I was promoted to Regional Hub Manager - Northern Europe responsible for an initial 14 P & L’s consisting of FACTS, Substation and Service units. I reported to Global Business MD and serve as a key member of the global management team, guiding, directing, and supervising all activities across the region. I maintained P&L accountability for annual revenues of $450M and reduced 14 P & L's into 5 giving significant synergy savings to help profitability.

The lead representative for a consortium of ABB, Atkins and Morgan Sindall in an Alliance with National Grid delivering over £600 million in new investment into NG's transmission network. Responsible for creating a "one team" culture on the contract across the various diverse companies. Introduced new technologies to help reduce costs as well as new construction methods to make things safer for people across our construction sites.
