since leaving school in 1987 I have worked as a glass gutter, processor, glazier and window fitter, I've learned stained glass overlay, Georgian grill manufacture, and putty glazing and even aquarium manufacture. I set up A.C. Glass and glazing in Feb. 2004 offering a personal service to the local construction trades, whom I had built a relationship with over the previous 15 years or so of working for local glass companies, and seeing first hand just what the traders want. Since then A.C. Glass has grown into "The place to go" for anything glass, we manufacture sealed units to BSEN1279, have attained our CMS mark and have a thriving trade counter serving trade and domestic clients from all over the area, and i believe that is largely down to our honest and approachable demeanour, along the knowledge that can only be gained from putting in the hours on the tools, actually doing the jobs, making the mistakes and solving the problems.I also understand how important it is to trust the knowledge of your suppliers so i freely offer complete and impartial advice to any question my clients bring to me.over 30 years hands on in the trade teaches you the skills you need to offer a complete and committed service to the trade.
