Developed supplier contacts in Hong Kong and China, importing table mats and other related products.2000. Management buyout of business partners giving me overall control of the business by way of majorortory shareholding (Financed by Barclays Bank loan - repaid within 3 years)2003. Established a sourcing/buying office in Hong Kong2004. Set up Creative Tops Far East Limited (a Hong Kong registered company,) recruiting an office director and 2 staff to service FOB business direct for Creative Tops customers. 2005. Strategic move into importing kitchen ceramics from China into the UK, once the quota restrictions were lifted in the UK on January 5th 20052006 – 2008 Growth in turnover from £12 million to £18 million.2008 Initialised and project managed the move to a new 95,000-sq.ft.UK distribution and office facility employing 90+ staff. Expanded and moved the Hong Kong office with 15 staff employed by the end of 2008.2009 Strengthened the UK Sales Team with a view for further expansion. 2010 Projected group sales of £25.5 million with further expansion planned for the Hong KongOffice.
