Mr. Ebbert serves as Chief Engineer for McCallum Testing Laboratories, Inc. He has prepared geotechnical reports with engineering recommendations pertaining to shallow and deep foundations, settlement analysis, slope stability analysis, pavement evaluation, and design and site improvement methods in the Southeastern Virginia, Maryland and Northeastern North Carolina Areas. Types of projects which he has completed include industrial and asphalt plants, high-rise to residential structures, hospitals, military structures, bridges, sound barrier walls, pavements, earthen dams and berms. In addition, his responsibilities includes supervising and performing wave equation and dynamic pile analyses for various pile systems as well as overseeing numerous static pile load tests and the installation of production precast, augercast, steel and timber pile projects, dynamic compaction projects and vibration analyses. Also, he has experience in completing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Assessments and Asbestos Inspections. His past work history also includes four years as an officer in the United States Navy serving as an Engineering Division Officer; three years experience as a staff member at both Ball State University and Penn State University, in geological research and teaching.
