Executive Profile:Senior executive with extensive experience in the electric, water and sewer utility business. Demonstrated expertise in the areas of engineering, construction, operations and maintenance.Selected Accomplishments: - Executive in charge of a $1.5B program to design and construct eight new generating units, as well as a major “repowering” of an existing power plant. - Executive in charge of “GroundWorks” a multi-year, $500M effort to rapidly rehabilitate water and sewer infrastructure after JEA merges with the City’s water and sewer department. - Teamed with three other public power companies to build standardized combined cycle units, then leveraged these standard units to reduce long term operations and maintenance costs through CT-Spin, an innovative parts sharing/maintenance program. - Participated in the formation of Colectric, a public power corporation, providing collaborative purchasing services for Public power utilities. Served as the organizations Board Chairman. - Member of the Taylor Energy Center Owner’s Committee leading the efforts to build a jointly owned coal plant with four participating public power organizations (project canceled before construction).
