As Managing Director at Flying Tiger Midlands, a 50/50 JV startup with Zebra (AS) Copenhagen, I led the management and expansion of business operations. My role involved:- Elevating sales from £0 to £20M within three years, managing a team of over 400 employees, and optimizing revenue to an EBITA of £1.8M in 2019 through strategic sales initiatives.- Establishing a profitable network of 27 stores across the UK, including site acquisition and overseeing store design and development.- Founding the head office function and implementing operational processes.- Securing investment through strategic negotiations and stakeholder engagement

- Leadership & Management: Directed a high-traffic shopping centre (14 million visitors annually) generating over £560M in sales. - Strategic Initiatives: Developed an integrated shopping centre management system in compliance with BSI standards (14001, 18001, 19001 P.A.S 99). - Financial Oversight: Administered £6M in service charges and generated £1M in commercial income and £2M in Gift Card sales, adhering to organisational policies.- Leadership Roles: Held positions as Director & Company Secretary of Cribbs Causeway Merchants Association, Chairman of PRUPIM Shopping Centre Operations Committee, and Member of South Glos Strategic Partnership.- Budget Management & Revenue Generation: Managed annual expenditure of £2.6M and generated £600K in event income from fashion and Winter Wonderland activities.- Awards & Recognition: Won multiple awards including BCSE Marketing Purple Apple Award (2007), BSCE Marketing Purple Apple Award (2006), ICSC International Marketing Award (2003), and ROSPA Gold Awards (2007-2010).- Innovation & Business Development: Spearheaded the establishment of the Flex-e cheque and gift card business, now used in over 60 shopping centres. Earned the E Business Award 2007 for exceptional dedication to business expansion and growth.- Project Management: Led the development of the Centre Monitor system and served as Project Manager for the PRUPIM Convergence project, outsourcing 22 shopping centres.
