Supervisor
Balance manpower on a daily basis to attain the most efficient production. Maintain close surveillance over operations throughout the day to ensure proper materialflow, manpower, equipment usage and material planning. Assure all materials are on-hand to meet production requirements. Communicate any and all information pertinent to the overall operations directly to theproduction manager. Assist and train an efficient work force in accordance with skills required. Administer processes to control cost, safety, quality, productivity, and delivery. Communicate with all areas of manufacturing to ensure good customer-supplier relations. Maintain all company and union policies. Maintain standardized labor instructions. Lead and supervise the production workforce. Educate and enforce safety processes and procedures with fellow supervisors andproduction workforce. Build a collaborative environment with managers, co-workers, and production workforce. Focus on Quality Assurance bringing the best product possible to the customer. Effective oral and written communication skills including coaching and developing a teamatmosphere. Lean Manufacturing by Educate and Implement, EMS. Complete root cause analysis and predict possible outcomes. Efficient and timely delivery of product with the highest possible quality. Cost effective elimination by reducing expense loss in all fields of labor, assets,controllable expenses and overtime. Complete end of the day production reports and Class A reports to managers.
