I attended the University of West Florida from 2017-December 2019. During my time there I worked as an intern for Landmark Engineering. I became proficient in Autocad, BeamChek, Microsoft Excel and the structural design of primarily residential structures. Under supervision of a professional engineer, I provided engineered drawings for residential additions to existing structures and new construction drawings for both residential and commercial purposes. I also performed field inspections of timber, steel, and concrete structures and produced condition assessments as an EI. In spring of 2020, I transferred to the University of Florida to study civil engineering. During my time there I studied for and passed my FE Civil exam, and soon after graduated in December 2021 with my Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. Coursework taken in the latter part of my Bachelors degree emphasised structural design and included: AutoCad, Revit, Reinforced Concrete Design, Analysis and Design in Steel, Timber Design, Structural Analysis, and Urban Stormwater Systems Design.In January 2022 I began working at Mott Macdonald in Pensacola, FL as a Structural Engineer I, where I have gained a working knowledge of Risa3D, and Tekla Tedds, and have continued to produce structural construction drawings and condition assessments under the supervision of multiple Professional Engineers as an EI in a variety of projects including:• structural design of light pole, and mechanical equipment pad foundations • structural design and drafting of wood, steel, and concrete construction • condition assessments of existing buildings, precast parking garages and other buildings• repair/rehabilitation design/drawings of damaged structures• bridge inspections reports • bridge repair/rehab drawings in microstation • cost estimates utilizing RS means and FDOT historical cost data
