Managing an agile team of architects, developers and testers using Azure DevOps.Business Liaison and On-Site Delivery Lead- Work with the business to prioritize development and support requests.- Triage any ProView requests from the Eagan team, e.g., report requests, metrics or usage statistics.- Assist with product releases, hot fixes and other production issues.Agile Team Lead- Lead a team of 10 Angular architects, developers and testers as we migrate from Pivotal Tracker to Azure DevOps as our agile management tool.- Work with the TR business and User Experience teams to be sure designs are complete and requirements defined.- Lead the agile cadence of meetings, including release planning, backlog grooming, iteration planning, daily stand-ups and retros.- Use DevOps to create metrics and report on team progress, velocity, etc. - Attend meetings with TR management to report accomplishments, status and risks.ProView is a proprietary eReader tool that is used by Thomson Reuters subscribers to search and view content from TR publishers around the world. Worked as a part-time contractor for Tech Mahindra at Thomson Reuters. Serving as project manager and leading a development team in India, working in an agile environment. The role included coordinating the work with the product owners and infrastructure teams in Eagan, as well as other off-site locations. The development team supports some Thomson Reuters legacy products, including Livenote and Case Notebook. Led a Tech Mahindra consulting team for Thomson Reuters Data Room, working as project manager and team lead. Data Room is a strategic set of application services that Thomson Reuters customers use to organize their user data. Data Room was initially integrated in Legal products such as WestlawNext, and Firm Central. As a platform service, it is now being used by Thomson Reuters products around the world.Managed a team made of Tech Mahindra and former Thomson Reuters (TR) employees in an Agile environment. The team was in multiple locations (and time zones).- Assisted with the knowledge transfer from the TR team. Worked with the TR team to schedule and create the training sessions.- Led the team through two-week iterations. This included story assignment, planning, daily stand-ups and retro meetings. Coordinated new development and support tasks.- Worked with the team and the tech leads to create backlog stories as needed.- Presented release accomplishments and upcoming plans to TR management.Represented Data Room with our TR customers.- Coordinated story and support requests. Managed application development projects for Westlaw that required coordination of several development teams. Worked with project managers, resource managers and the business units to ensure projects were completed on time. Some highlights are given below.TaxNetPro for Carswell: 2008 - 2010Led a distributed development team in coordination with the business unit and a project manager. Agile was used to manage the migration of the Carswell project to the Westlaw platform.CFR-Plus: 2005 – 2006Managed the Versioning and “FR Summaries” portions of the CFR-Plus project. Statutes Plus Versioning: 2003 – 2004This was a large project that created historical versions of statutes from California, New York and the U.S. Code on Westlaw. Coordinated design and development, and represented the Application Technology team as part of a large core team. Created an SRS for the project.

Primary responsibilities were to support the legacy Westlaw databases and their update processes. Involved with the development of many Westlaw features, and often worked with other departments on design. Worked alternatively as Group Lead and Technical Lead. Mainframe programming was in PL/I and ADABAS/Natural. Trained a consulting team to provide programming support for the Westlaw load process.
