Providing technical and administrative support to Catchment Quality Scientists within Area to enable the Catchment Quality Team to regulate and monitor non domestic discharges and to protect the business from the impacts of these discharges on the sewerage system, the treatment processes and product quality.· Gathering and providing data required, including taking Trade Effluent samples on traders’ sites, for compliance and charging purposes and to assist other areas of the business, e.g. Business Billing and Debt Recovery. · Supporting on site trader Pollution Prevention Audits· Attending, supporting and contributing to compliance meetings with Traders.· Managing correspondence with Traders, e.g. failure notifications, Trade Effluent consents and updating TSSIS database.· Involved in the implementation of new hand held device to log samples.· Helping out with the Community Education team at a schools event , the children played games under the themes of Sewer wise/not Sewer wise for appropriate items to dispose of in the sewer, and Water wise /not Water wise for efficient water consumption.
