I am a 20 year retired US Army 1SG who spent most of his career in the 75th Ranger Regiment, with time in Cadet Command and the 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade. I am currently employed as a Dog Trainer at Dogsmartz Unleashed, LLC. I utilize pain free and fear free training techniques through the use of several theories and methods. These include the use of positive reinforcement and negative punishment to modify and train the desired behavior. I currently teach nose and scent work classes, different levels of obedience, fun indoor games and so much more. I have learned through numerous seminars, trainers, and experience working with Special Operation Multipurpose Canines. I continue to grow and develop within the field, learning canine behaviors, new theories, and techniques that will aid all dogs with the right attitude and time. I have an MBA with a concentration in general business studies, as well as a Bachelors in Marketing with a concentration in sales. I am currently working towards earning my CPDT-KA, certificates in AKC Scent Work, and agility to further my experience. I enjoy teaching and growing with each team I get to instruct and look forward to any challenge.
