Preparation of high quality accurate engineering drawings and associated documentation in support of design, implementation, verification and operational activities for baggage handling systems at major international airports including Heathrow, Gatwick and StanstedThe role involved the following activities:Producing quotation drawings and costingsPreparation of whole project phasing drawings indicating the sequence of installationGeneration of electrical system designs, based on selected concept/scheme drawings with increased level of detail, taking into account 3rd party interfaces, operational impacts, safety systems, system architecture, equipment processes, cost etc.Generation of electrical design and installation drawings as follows:-Control panel equipment arrangements drawings and bill of materials-Electrical Schematics, terminal arrangements-Block interface drawings, end connection drawings, cable schedules, power distribution drawings etc.Site surveys in support to the above activitiesSite support during installation and commissioning phases, office or site, day and nightMonitor and report progress against the agreed programme and Estimates To Complete (ETCs) for all remaining allocated activitiesEnsure that all related processes and procedures particularly with regard to review and issue elementWorking to quality assurance systems certified to ISO9001Check all documentation for compliance to company and international standardsManufacturing details (including circuit/wiring diagrams, general arrangements and parts lists) to latest British/European harmonized standards i.e. EN 60204, EN ISO 13849Project close out, ensuring all “as built” drawings, cable schedules etc. are received from site and updatedAllocation, supervision, checking and approval of CAD designers day to day workTraining of new team members of company procedures and protocolsVerification and approval of contractors hours and timesheets
