I grew DB Microware from a small 3 person firm to a $5 million company. I served all roles from systems engineer, sales & marketing specialist, to development manager, eventually becoming CTO.In 2002, DB Microware was purchased by Neptune Technology Group, and I was put in charge of development for the Fieldnet division. I worked with marketing and sales to help sell and design FieldNet, as well as leading development efforts.In 2008, I was made Director of Software and Systems Engineering, leading teams in both Tallassee, AL and Plano, TX. My focus switched from FieldNet to Neptune's N_SIGHT package, and I continued to lead software development for Neptune until retiring in early 2017.After spending several months consulting, I took a position as Senior Consulting Engineer with Nighthawk using my extensive meter reading and utility knowledge to help build a new AMI system called Adaptiv. As part of Nighthawk I have also worked on their innovative iHydrant pressure monitoring solution. I've also worked on prototypes of a hydrant mounted leak detection system using Amazon AWS.During my tenure at Nighthawk, I have continued to do consulting on the side. A few major projects include:• Building and supporting hosted version of the Neptune AMI system for one of their distributors to use for production demonstration.• Designing and implementing an adapter for Itron Openway that allows an application to communicate with meters.• Designing and implementing an adapter for the Clevest Fieldnet system to communicate with the Sensus Easylink mobile meter reading system.I specialize in System Integration, Implementation and Design, especially database design. My technical skills include C#, Watcom SQL, Transact SQL, PostgresSQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Java, Python, Javascript, Powerbuilder, and C++.

Those solutions were implemented by over 60% of the top 100 utilities, and the Fieldnet solution managed over 15 million metering end-points and was deployed on over 5000 devices every day- Performed demos and prepared presentations with marketing and sales. Notable achievements:- Grew company to multi-million dollar revenue before selling to Neptune Technology Group. Neptune felt the award winning Fieldnet platform would allow them to take their software to the next level.- Converted F.A.S.T service order system into award winning Fieldnet.
