Hello my name is Jon Grubbs. I am originally from Ann Arbor, MI and currently attend school online at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. My major is Criminal Justice and I will be using this for the position of Police Officer. Over the last few years I have worked for a police department, sheriff's department, ems agency and a full spectrum public safety department. Throughout the years I developed and honed my skills in public service. I have dealt with citizens in all socioeconomic groups and I am excellent at communicating with persons from all ethnic and racial backgrounds. I consider myself to be excellent at problem solving whether it is a minor situation all the way up to immediate life threatening situations and crimes in progress. I have up to date computer skills with Microsoft, PowerPoint, email, fax, and other office skills.
