Worked as a Graphic Design Specialist within the University Marketing and Communications department on a variety of projects including Michigan Tech Magazine, Research Magazine, logos, admissions materials, view books, department literature, stickers, signage and anything else that the various colleges and departments needed designed. Collaborated alongside other designers, photographers, videographers, writers and editors to craft the University's image. Bringing all designs into the University's style and design language was a top priority.

Started out as a Proofer/Plater in the Pre-press department at Quality Color Graphics in February of 1997. After a few months, was promoted to Proofing and Plating Supervisor. In October of 1998, was moved up to Mac Operator/Pre-press. One year later, in October of 1999, became Graphic Designer for Q2 division. In 2004, Quality Color Graphics merged with the Chenequa Corporation to form the Peloton Group. Was promoted to Senior Graphic Designer and Lead Photographer in the newly established photo studio.• Responsible for the assembly of color proofs and printing plates.• Pre-press and file prep for customer supplied files. Including color correction, trapping, clipping path creation, support file prep, layout and imposition.• Graphic design of logos, brochures, packaging, magazines, menus, business cards, letterheads and envelopes.• Location and studio photography, photo retouching and clipping.
