Software Engineer on the Force Integration MasterPlanner (FIM) project. The FIM is a software system designed to help the Intelligence Electronic Wargare (IEW) mission area track the current Military Intelligence (MI) force structure and budgetary information, assess operational capabilities against proposed threats, and design the future MI force structure in terms of manpower, equipment and dollars. It has been written entirely in Common LISP on various Symbolics platforms (36XX series followed by XL1200 and ported to the Compaq/DEC Alpha). The system supports many forms of analysis across multipledatabases particularly in support of Long Range Research and Development Acquisition Program(LRRDAP),Long Range Availability Managability Reliability Planning (LRAMRP), and Program ObjectiveMemorandum (POM) build portions of the Planning Programming and Budgeting ExecutionSystem (PPBES) cycle. The system also provides data support to multiple Army staff activities, including the biannual production of the Tactical Intelligence And Related Activities (TIARA) Congressional Justification Book (CJB). He has provided support for MI Force Structure comparison and representation with ad hoc tools and graphical displays. He has provided web based briefing tools for FIM deployment and education. He was responsible for porting systems across multiple development platforms providing an open environment.
