Managed the Technology Transfer of a >$10MM new production line at Ecolab's Chalons France plant. Led the cross-functional team consisting of Packaging Engineering, MPD, and plant engineering to ensure the production line was installed with equipment meeting the engineering specifications and capable of producing products that meet quality metrics. Collaborated with key vendors and project team members to design and implement Factory and Site Acceptance Testing to validate equipment performance prior to line start-up. Provided on-site process training, support, and documentation to the local production team.

Key contact and primary process engineering resource for all European divisions at the Ecolab pilot plant located in Minnesota. Collaborated cross-regionally to coordinate and manage the pilot plant scale up testing for new European specific products, including emulsions and healthcare disinfectants. Managed the process development and scale-up for European warewash detergents to supply the European market for a program launch. Traveled up to 4 times per year to European R&D Headquarters and European production plants.

Manage product formulation, process development, production scale-up, product labels and SDSdevelopment for the AgNition product line. Developed test method for analysis of plant nutrient uptake and foliar absorption in greenhouse studies. Reduced production batch time and improved safety in the process by developing an in tank reaction method that eliminated a two week pre-work step. Increased efficiency of greenhouse and field data analysis by introducing Minitab for ANOVA statistical analysis. Guide plant management in improving product quality through product training and troubleshooting equipment.

Led R&D team in the commercialization of Apex2, a controller that increases theefficiency of customer dishmachine operations. Worked cross-functionally with Marketing, SoftwareEngineering, IT, and Supply Chain to ensure internal and external customer requirements were met.Provided equipment installation training to field sales managers throughout the U.S. in preparation for product launch. Effectively utilized Phase Gate processes to manage the project from Feasibility through Launch.

Platform manager for the Apex Detergent product line. Responsibilities included managing detergent formulations from lab testing to production scale-up, product quality, and specifications. Led a cross-functional R&D team from Feasibility through Launch phases in the commercialization of the Ecolab Cleaning Caddy to reduce costs and improve cleaning of restrooms. Included post-Launch responsibilities for providing technical training and support to Field Sales in the form of hands-on demonstration, troubleshooting guides, and use cost calculators as well as supporting Marketing in the development of customer facing brochures and training videos. The Ecolab Cleaning Caddy received the 2011 National Restaurant Association Kitchen Innovation Award.

Led reformulation efforts for the Manual and Kitchen Specialty product lines to reduce or eliminate the use of phosphates. Managed cost savings initiatives totaling over $1MM. Quality Coordinator for the Kitchen Specialty product line, worked with Supply Chain and Field Sales to resolve customer product complaints.
