Prior to Conair I had 17 years' experience working in IT for the Kellogg Company - first in UK; then Europe-wide; and latterly in USA.     During my time as Global CIO of Conair Corporation (a multi-billion $ revenue, family-owned worldwide consumer products company) I led a 120 person team spread across 6 countries. Major business changes this team implemented included: global rollout of a centralized ERP system (SAP) replacing 25 different legacy ERPs with one single platform; global business integration and visibility via one single IT network; seamless integration of 8 acquired businesses; and opening of 9 new businesses. This multi-billion dollar revenue corporation doubled in revenue, and increased global reach multiple times during this period.Latterly I focused on digital-enabled improvements to the business in various countries. These improvements resulted in new eCommerce and social media analytics platforms to help realize digital marketing advantages through more direct consumer engagement. The business outcomes have been revenue through direct sales to salons and consumers, and accelerated brand growth through increased engagement with consumers through digital channels.My strategic people leadership focus was on recruiting and retaining a team of empowered IT leaders around the world who are positioned as senior partners in their assigned business units.
