I was raised on broadcast engineering as dad was the chief engineer of our hometown AM/FM/TV station and I officially started working there when I was 15 years old. Before that dad would take me to the station and sit me at the workbench and teach me components, soldering and everything broadcast. I have been and still am fascinated with transmitters. I also was born and raised in the fire service as my father was the volunteer fire chief. That turned into EMS as the department started running EMS. My first "official" T&I fire training when I was 15 years old. I have had a variety of experience in all the fields. In engineering I have been the chief engineer for radio stations, staff engineer for a TV station, contract engineer for both radio and TV stations and I currently work in the broadcast industry.In EMS I became an EMT in 1984 and became a medic in 2000. I have been a supervisor for both a large private EMS company as well as a Dispatch supervisor. In the fire service I held many positions including Assistant Chief and administrative positions.I am a Sales Engineer for Summit Technology Group in Michigan.
