I focus on the areas of increase yields, eliminating labor, reducing supply waste and improving plant efficiency.• Standard Costing – insure the plants have the correct standard cost in place for each product. • Continuous Improvement – continually look for ways to reduce cost out of operations. The total savings of projects for my plants was $9.5 Million in the past three years. • Research and test new equipment and processing mythology. Docking bellies prior to slice to improve the Slice Department line efficiency of $500,000 annualized. • Leadership Development Course Facilitator – Pork 201 – designed to help plant management personnel from various departments of the company on product costing, Root Cause Analysis, Math Principles, and basic SAP functions. This course is designed to give the individuals a better understanding of the business from a numbers point of view. The filter has been added to over 40 lines in Tyson. • Develop and implement No Cost/Low Cost Projects at plant.
