Executive DirectorThe Tunison Foundation Jul 2018 - PresentCt, Wi, Fl, AzChief Executive for a nonprofit foundation that owns and operates a World War II C-47 Aircraft. In June, 2019, the Tunison Foundation also led the D-day Squadron, a flight of 15 WWII C-47 aircraft from the U.S. to Normandy, France, to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-day in June, 2019. We then flew on to Germany and led the commemorative flying in honor of the 70th Anniversary of the Berlin Airlift. The hero of the Berlin Airlift, Col. Gail Halvorsen, the "Berlin Candy Bomber" , was an honorary crew member aboard our C-47 during the celebration events. We were greeted by as many as 60,000 people at each stop.
