Key responsibilities are, but not limited to the following: Perform initial diagnosis, troubleshooting, calibration/ validation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on lab equipment malfunctions including HPLC/UPLC systems, incubators, lyophilizers, plate readers/ washers, glassware washers, vacuum pumps (oil and oil-free), centrifuge, etc. Specific HPLC/ UPLC diagnosis, repair, and yearly preventative maintenance on Agilent and Waters systems. Assist's Chemistry Department in conducting daily calibration and verification tests on Waters HPLC/ UPLC and Genevac lyopholizers. Operation and maintenance on the Artel Multichannel Verification System (MVS). Created and maintain excel spreadsheets for Preventative Maintenance schedule and parts list for lab equipment. Update and manage lab equipment asset database using iOffice and iStatus. Communicate and troubleshoot equipment issues with technical support personnel and end users while scheduling and coordinating vendor equipment service repairs, if necessary. Update end users on work order system with service details and schedules. . Respond quickly to work assignments based on task priority levels. Perform other department tasks as needed.
