Speaker on poverty awareness and Ray of Hope programs.I have been working with troubled, marginalized, homeless populations for 42 years. The last 17 years has been with many homeless and needy individuals in a drop in center and community center. I have developed many programs within young offender facilities and the community center to connect people in relationship focused small groups.I am available to speak on poverty awareness in Waterloo Region, stories of struggling lives, facts about poverty, and issues of concern. I speak at churches, youth events, men’s and women's groups, retreats, conferences, high schools, colleges, universities, seminaries, camps etc. I also do a poverty awareness event for youth groups, that gives a hands on experience of poverty globally as well as specifically in Waterloo Region.

Supervised young men through alternative Corrections program.

Direct and develop the Oasis Drop In and meal program for the marginalized and homeless.This grew into the Ray of Hope Community Center with 14 programs to assist marginalized and homeless people with skills, resources, and groups to build relationships with a sense of belonging.

Planned, Facilitated & Developed a Drop In for marginalized, vulnerable and homeless people in downtown Guelph for 2 and a half years.I then initiated a transfer of this program to the Guelph churches and handed it over to them as planned in the beginning of its developement.

Initiated, Facilitated and Developed a Young Offender Open Custoday Facility and Directed this program for 18 years.
