Director and head of CBRE's Out of Town Lease Consultancy team specialising in Retail Warehouse and Leisure Assets. Provided advise to Landlords on a wide range of property matters including:• Strategic Lease Consultancy: Negotiate rent reviews, lease renewals and lease re-gears on behalf of landlord clients forming an integral part of larger client teams, working in tandem with letting agents in order to drive performance, maximise rental and capital values and deliver client business plans. • Property Leasing and Asset Management: Marketing and letting properties and preparing asset management plans and strategies in order to identify and secure target retailers to deliver the best possible result for clients in line with their business plans. This often involved detailed negotiations at the Heads of Terms stage and in depth involvement with external consultants including lawyers, planning advisers, project managers, architects and independent valuers. • Report Writing and Expert Witness Work: Prepared and submited written Expert Witness Reports for rent review Third Party procedures and Lease Renewal Court Reports, together with ensuring these procedures are run and managed correctly and efficiently. • Investment Due Diligence: Worked with the CBRE Investment Team and provided advice on occupational leases and ERVs together with formulating asset management strategies and initiatives to drive performance and add value. This process also included drafting Investment Purchase Reports and direct liaison with the client, assisting with drafting Investment Committee reports. • Client Valuation Liaison: Integrated with the CBRE Valuation Department and provided market intelligence, occupational input and ERV advice to institutional funds.

Responsible for providing Lease Consultancy advice and negotiating regears, rent reviews and lease renewals on behalf of landlord clients on a range of retail, office and industrial premises. Also provided investment due diligence when working with the investment team advising on occupational leases and ERV levels for both disposals and acquisitions.

Worked in a range of departments whilst gaining the necessary experience for sitting and ultimately passing the APC. These included Investment Agency, Valuation, Landlord & Tenant, Corporate Services and Property Management.
