I'm a journalist and editor with over 20 years of professional experience in writing, sub-editing and managing content for major digital platforms.I have a specialism in LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport, and more broadly in ED&I. I’m an editor for Outsports and I lead on media and comms for the Football v Homophobia campaign.I'm interested in media consultancy opportunities in this space as well as freelance work.In my previous role at Sky Sports, I managed and maintained the SkySports.com website, the Sky Sports apps and other products, led the sub-editing team, and performed a wide range of editorial and newsroom tasks.I also co-ordinated and produced content relating to Sky's support of Stonewall's award-winning Rainbow Laces campaign, which is where I built my passion and expertise in LGBTQ+ inclusion. I continue to work part-time at Sky Sports and also Sky News.In 2017, I founded Sports Media LGBT+ - a network, advocacy and consultancy group that's helping both my industry and sport in general become more welcoming and inclusive. We provide resources, webinars and workshops, and we’re a digital publisher in our own right.
