My work history reflects the two sides of my personality: the creative side which is passionate about writing, comedy, music, and film, and the organizational side which has grown significantly with experience and has lent itself to non-profit event coordination, crew coordination, wedding coordination, and currently, coordinating a daily schedule of multiple crews and projects at Evan C. Lai Landscape Design, Inc.. In 2016, I combined these passions to write, direct, and produce my first short film, which has since been shown in multiple festivals, and I just released On the Line, a comedic web series that I wrote, directed, and produced (streaming now at onthelinewebseries.com).Both of these sides are connected to a passion for people, who have the capacity to be the best and the worst part of life. Whether it's utilizing my creativity to explore the ways in which we interact and are connected, or through the daily interactions and symbiotic relationship that is coordination, people are at the center of it all. Along with my described job functions, I do what I can to make sure everyone feels they are a valued member of the team. In that vein, I consider myself an impromptu mediator, though I've been called the "In-house therapist" more than a few times--a title I'm happy to have.
