- Managed the secretariat for the All Party Parliamentary Group on Alcohol Harm, organising meetings, liaising with MPs, Peers and industry professionals and producing detailed briefings on relevant topics- Produced a series of Factsheets examining the link between alcohol and various health issues, which were peer reviewed for scientific accuracy and published for medical professionals- Developed official guidance and information for MPs dealing with alcohol-related harm in their constituencies - Assisted with the general administration of the office, including answering and transferring phone calls, handling calls from people seeking support services, proof reading policy documents and maintaining the website

- Monitored Parliamentary activity and media developments relevant to the BHA, and distributed a summary each day ensuring members of staff were always kept up to date- Drafted Parliamentary briefings before debates for MPs and Lords, to inform them with accurate knowledge about our position and raise points on which they can challenge the Government- Produced press releases to increase media attention for the BHA and in response to major news stories, and contacted journalists individually encouraging them to report on BHA activity- Assisted with other campaign work, including drafting press releases, updating the BHA websites’ ‘Latest News Section’, and contacting journalists- Produced a comprehensive report on the Lobbying Act, recommending ways the BHA could change its campaign strategy to avoid having to register under the law

- Produced a report collating and analysing a survey measuring public opinion of the Slough Housing Sector, which Fiona cited in a number of radio interviews and a speech in the House of Commons as part of the campaign for a National Landlord Database- Interacted with constituents both in the office and on the phone, many of whom had turned to Fiona as a last resort and were angry or upset. I calmly listened to their concerns, dealt with queries when I could or transferred them to the appropriate caseworker if I could not- Assisted with general administration and secretarial work, including sorting post and transferring phone calls
