 Responsible for overseeing the day to day operations for the installation of electrical equipment and cabling in hazardous areas of gas processing plant  Pre commissioning of HV, LV and instrumentation switch rooms, HV switchyards, HFU’s and transformers  Supervision of staff (6)and delegation of daily duties  Attend and participate at morning pre start toolbox meeting  Application of Isolation Permits and Permits to Work in commissioning areas  Required to perform boundary, group and single point isolations  Liaise with sub contractors and to ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control of works including cross checking redline drawings, database entry of check sheets and reports,  Point to point and insulation resistance testing of circuits  Ductor point testing of HV switchyard ad High Frequency Units connections  Inspecting and modifying of TX control wiring  Temporary power connection to HV switchgear for function test  Completion and the submission of inspection test check sheets and reports and forward to the client  Hazardous areas inspection  Implementing and maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and sub contractors on site and that they are in compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulations and statutory obligations
