Closed large loss commercial claims for Markel, Global, Arabella, Tower Group, Brotherhood Insurance, and Celina Insurance. Extensive experience with sports facilities, condo and apartment complexes, retail strip centers, urgent care, storage facilities, automotive shops, grocery stores, restaurants, manufacturing, camps, nursing homes, daycares, schools, motels, churches, and gas stations. Maintained all communications with the insureds, public adjusters, lawyers, contractors, engineers, and management during the claim process. Claims included scoping the loss, taking recorded statements, keeping the insured informed about their claim, determining policy coverages, writing status reports, and closing estimates independently. Worked in the estimating software preferred by the carrier/IA Firm to submit my recommendation for the loss location. Assessed the ITV per building an applied co-insurance based off compliance of the policy. Determined SIU and subrogation on loss and reported to carrier as needed.

Extensive experience with hail, wind, ice, flood, water backup, ALE, pipe bursts, liability, business interruption, theft, and fire. Also, I have worked as an inside adjuster and training new adjusters in the field by participating in the development and deployment of the NACA Mentor Program. Always maintained a high quality final report even when running 100+ claims per month.
