I looked after all of the non-lifesaving community operations for the UK's largest search and rescue charity. I lead the community fundraising, youth, visitor engagement, retail and Face-to-Face fundraising teams. As well as my fantastic staff, I led over 40,000 volunteers who continue t help us save lives from drowning every single day! We implemented several new changes and oversaw a great return in this year, as well as building pipelines to see us through the organisational change to Opt-in marketing, bravely leading the way in the Third Sector.

Having designed a new strategy to take retail at the RNLI's 150 units forward into a Visitor Experience led model, we rebranded, rolled out to new openings and increased turnover 12% and profit by 20%.

I was responsible for the safe and profitable operation of businesses within the 2nd largest entertainments company in the world, including full project management of major openings in new markets. During my tenure as Operations Manager I worked at Legoland in Manchester, Sea Life in Norfolk and at Alton Towers Resort, managing up to 120 staff and running commercial operations turning over £15million p.a.
