I’ve been in the food, beverage, and hospitality industry for a combined total of twenty-two years. During these two decades I have worked more than one job at a time. In some cases balancing three jobs at the same time while working seven days a week. I did so for three years straight and still put my family first. I don’t call off from work and have an excellent work record with zero disciplinary actions for any company I’ve worked for. I currently have a GED but am enrolled with Penn Foster to obtain my High School Diploma with entry course into the Health Care industry as well as looking into different expedited courses to become: Phlebotomy, First Aid, CPR, AED, and CNA certified. I am currently seeking employment with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office via Reserve Deputy Program. I love to help out where I can. My current job is as a cook for people with traumatic brain injuries, and for the elderly at Rocky Mountain Health Care Services (non-profit organization). At one point we held the Silver Key contract for their culinary program. In my spare time I was part of another non-profit organization comprised of bikers who helped empower abused children to stop being afraid of their environment. That group is called B.A.C.A., Bikers Against Child Abuse (Pikes Peak Chapter). All that being said, I have learned a lot and continue to put my best foot forward to find the best balance for family and work. Thank you for taking the time to read this quick snippet of who I am.
