Senior Carrier Sales
CurrentAs a Carrier Sales Representative I play a critical role in managing relationships with freight carriers and ensuring smooth cargo transportation. I'm tasked with identifying, sourcing, and managing carrier relations, maintaining freight volumes, and ensuring on-time deliveries. This role also requires troubleshooting transportation issues, negotiating rates, and addressing any concerns during the shipping process. My negotiation and problem-solving skills have been honed to a fine point through this responsibility, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.Being the primary contact point between the freight carrier and client, excellent communication and customer service skills are paramount. I pride myself on these abilities, adeptly managing any inquiries or issues that arise, most times with either efficient or creative tactics.Over the past year, I successfully booked 2000 loads, generating a profit margin of 1.05 million with an average margin of 19.24% (per load). Even with the downtrend of the market, since my first full year, I managed to book 1600 loads contributing to a profit margin of 650k, at an average of 18.55%. This puts me on pace to sell just as much or more than the previous booming year, provided we are able to get any sort of market recovery by Q4!
