I am a serving police officer with Hertfordshire Constabulary working as an Acting Detective Inspector within the Serious and Organised Crime Command. I currently manage 40 officers and staff within the Source Management Unit, Modern Slavery team and Covert Authorities Bureau. I have significant experience in large scale and complex drug supply and fraud investigations.I manage risk and sensitive intelligence and have a large amount of experience in serious and complex investigations resulting in a strong working knowledge of POCA and RIPA legislation. I am SC vetted and a Drug Expert Witness. I have undertaken enhanced training in communications data, Human Trafficking investigations and Disclosure of material.I have worked closely with the CPS for a number of years and have extensive experience in presenting evidence at Crown Court. I have developed and delivered a number of training packages to both police officers and partner agencies as well as a training and mentoring scheme for aspiring Detectives.
