Scrap management, reconciliation, and transportation, both internal and external. All inbound and outbound materials processed by the Front Gate D.O.T truck scales. Manage in-plant contractors used for site operations and vendor management. Responsible for leading Packaging, Shipping and Warehousing of coated/un-coated flat rolled steel products. Responsible for the safety, training and production of employees and resident contractors for Internal Logistics Operations and its support functions.We produce some of the highest quality exposed and unexposed steel for all major industries, especially automotive, energy and trade grade steels as well as many other product types. Ship material by barge, truck and rail. Responsible for implementing safety procedures, change management, project coordination, crane/equipment training and compliance and customer satisfaction. Responsible for the safety, training, and production of 150+ employees. We produce some of the highest quality exposed and unexposed steel for all major industries, especially automotive and appliance grade steels as well as many other product types. Ship material by barge, truck and rail. Responsible for implementing safety procedures, change management, project coordination, crane/equipment training, and customer satisfaction. Safety, Quality, and Productivity are key to our success. Interface with quality and all forms of upper management. Manage inventories in excess of 9,000 to 11,000 flat rolled coated coils packaged and shipped all over the world by barge, truck, and rail. Lead role in developing best practices, PFMEA's, and work instructions to ensure compliance with all necessary certifications needed to be a leader in the NAFTA market.
