Jon R. Lee was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. Jon graduated from Sarasota High School in 1987 before attending the University of Florida. At the University of Florida Jon played on both the baseball and football teams and is a proud member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. After graduating from UF with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991, Jon moved back to Sarasota and began his career in the Financial Industry. He has been working in the financial services industry serving high net worth clients and corporations for over 18 years. Jon has strong ties to the community of Sarasota and focuses on helping the area youth. He has served on the board of the Sarasota Boys and Girls Club, is currently serving on the foundation board of the Boys and Girls Club and has been the quarterback coach for Sarasota High’s football team for the past seven years. Jon is also a member of the board of Directors for the Sarasota County University of Florida Gator Club, as well as ITN Sarasota and the Sarasota County Sheriff Advisory Board.Before founding LCM Capital Advisors, Mr. Lee worked for Raymond James, Legg Mason and Smith Barney where he served as Vice President of Investments.
