My main responsibility is to ensure that all customer orders are despatched in a timely manner and in this role I report to the Warehouse Manager for whom I deputise when he is absent. My other responsibilities involve the creation and maintenance of products within both the Sage back-office system and the Company’s website. I implement any price changes as notified by suppliers and maintain the clearance products system. In this role I report to the Managing Director. I am also responsible for compiling several key management reports.

responsible for maintaining the accuracy of 12,000 product lines stored in 18,500 locations within a 120,000 sq. ft. warehouse. Together with my daily duties I was required to evaluate and plan for suitable storage for all stocked and expected product lines. I had four direct reports involved in both inventory counting and administrative duties including resolving alleged discrepancies arising from transactions between the hub and satellite depots particularly reverse logistics. Using information collated from several databases, I produced the key performance indicators for the site including all planning data required for warehouse and transport activities. I also provided front line support for the Opus warehouse management system used at this site.
