Responsible for managing a team of Product/Applications Engineers, providing technical support for sales activities and project work as and when required. My role was to facilitate the development of individual high-value project proposals and where successful, management of the projects to client handover with support from the Applications and Field Operations teams. As part of this job function, I was responsible for the control of project deliverables and milestones, documentation delivery (manufacturing record books), financial reporting, subcontractor management, manpower resourcing, factory acceptance testing and final site commissioning which included HSEQ related activities. Prior to my upward transition to a more focused business management role, I successfully project managed implementation of several high-value monitoring systems in the UK, Offshore North Sea and across the Middle East.

Reporting to the Applications Specialist, the role was focused towards cross-sector development of asset integrity applications using specialist cutting-edge monitoring technologies. Naturally this role was client facing, providing frequent site demonstrations and ensuring I was on hand to offer technical support for new and existing clients. A significant proportion of time was spent working on research and development projects to validate the capabilities of the technology as well as site support for the Application Specialists as required. I was called upon to perform regular analytical reporting duties for the range of remote continuous monitoring systems as well as site application development trials. Working to increase the sale of monitoring/inspection products as well as turnkey solutions, I was required to regularly undertake travel internationally to support clients in Scandinavia, South Africa, Middle East and the Far East.
