For the last 20+ years my personal mission has been to give back to my community and invest in the economic growth of New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada.In 1990 I founded Spielo Gaming, a prominent international player in the gaming industry. Since its sale in 2004, I began investing in companies in the technology sector along with hospitals, research Institutes such as ACRI, Dalhousie, the Université de Moncton and numerous charities across New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada such as the IWK.In 2004 I founded Technology Venture Corporation. In collaboration with Build Ventures, Sandpiper Ventures and Tidal Ventures, we support the growth of Atlantic Canadian technology companies through funding and mentorship. In 2010 I co-founded and support Venn Innovation which seeks to foster the growth of tech startups in New Brunswick through incubator programs. In more recent years, I have taken an interest in showing people all that New Brunswick has to offer, from the world's best seafood to talented artists and hardworking professionals. I founded a nonprofit organization Excellence NB Association Inc. whose mission is to accelerate the economic growth of New Brunswick by encouraging people to buy local goods and services. The Moncton Magic was part of the National Basketball League of Canada and took home a championship in the 2018-2019 season. This was a community development project intended to offer a high quality entertainment experience that would bring our community together.Today, I am launching a new company called Raffle Systems Inc. Our mission is to assist charities in raising funds to support their causes, by providing them with the technology to run government-regulated raffle games. Raffle Systems Inc. bridges my experience in the gaming industry with my mission to support charities across Canada and beyond.
