Over 35 years of business experience having built multiple companies from the ground up. In-depth knowledge of business operations including bringing new product to market, administrative functions, Human Resources, manufacturing, management of outside sales force, and company financial performance.Beginning my career as a Chemical Engineer, I co-developed and wrote control logic for the first of seven US ARMY Demilitarization Facilities to destroy an aging chemical weapons stockpile in Pine Bluff, AR. Also developed weapons systems for the Defense Department Binary Chemical Weapons program in the late 80’s and early 1990’s. As a private consultant to Combustion Engineering, I also developed procedures for training, operating and lay-away of two Chemical Weapons facilities for the US ARMY. Have also worked on multiple power plants and chemical facilities around the world, responsible for developing engineering changes, designing and implementing control logic, material handling start-up calculations and plant optimization.Co-developed and then ultimately sold a business that specialized in high-end multimedia for Fortune 100 Companies. Creative Advantage provided traditional advertising and marketing services but also pioneered the use of animated, digital presentations in Little Rock and outside the state. First company to broadcast a Macintosh signal to network TV for the 1992 Clinton Economic Summit. Currently I oversee operations at Southern Food Systems, a specialty food wholesale company with offices in 4 states. We provide a variety of food products to wholesalers that include frozen vegetables, dry mixes and our own fully cooked chicken meat patties.
