Operated and maintained the Environmental Chemistry lab as well as the controlled environmental chambers for colloidal transport column experiments. Supported Principle Investigator research projects and trained graduate students to use most lab equipment and project set ups. Executed project measurements and collected and analyzed data efficiently in order to meet deadlines. Routinely worked on problem solving on large projects. Fabricated necessary and unique devices for acquiring data. Coordinated with multiple governmental agencies on cooperative research grants. Assisted in writing technical reports and peer reviewed publications of results. Presented research findings and results at national and regional conferences. Volunteered to serve as chairman of the departmental safety committee.
