Ellipses Pharma is an international drug development company, focused exclusively on the advancement of innovative cancer treatments through the clinic. Until I resigned to take a sabbatical I was General Counsel & Director Operations and a member of the Executive team having been a part of the company's inception, since when we built upon an idea, raised capital and then executed upon the strategy to grow the company into a leading player in cancer. From building the first powerpoints through to running global, multi-centre cancer trials I thoroughly enjoyed growing our company and delivering on our mission. Day-to-day I ran Legal, Intellectual Property, Company Secretary and Facilities with direct reports from the Head of IT and half of HR. A member of the Executive team since we established Ellipses, I helped lead all elements of our hiring and team build. Core to our business model, I delivered on multiple due diligence and in-licensing activities having closed deals to bring nine assets into the company (several of which we have since taken from pre-clinical status and into running global Ph I/Ph II trials). I have been heavily involved in capital-raising activities, drug development committees with our licensing partners and delivering annual strategic and operational planning.

Overseeing international team servicing private equity clients through deal origination, advisory and Exec/Board-level executive search. I met, assessed and advised thousands of senior executives which helped deepen my fascination with how we can all best thrive in our professional lives.
