I have been working in leadership development for over 10 years. During that time I have mainly focused on helping organizations develop mid-career leaders through coaching individuals who are seeking to find greater meaning, passion, and motivation in their work. I have worked with government officials, educators, and leaders in organizations like United Airlines, Walmart, Staples, and Verizon. Over the course of my time working with aspiring leaders in these organizations, I have realized that people don't go to work wanting to do a bad job, they want to be successful! I view my role as helping leaders and individuals eliminate barriers to success through engaging with leadership principles that empower, engage, and motivate. I am passionate about education and its ability to empower and enlighten people. I am currently a faculty member at Texas Tech where I study leadership and work as a leadership consultant for multiple industries. My experience as a leader, researcher, and consultant, in conjunction with my passion for bringing out the best in others, has allowed me to build a strong base of evidence-based practices that are needed for leadership change in any setting.
