Team lead for the West coast backbone team that studied the feasibility of a national optical backbone. Collected data and financial information to justify and present the ROI to upper management. This task included the careful study of regional transit costs and WAN monthly recurring costs.Member of an engineering team that designed and deployed a nationwide backbone that comprised of 36 Cisco 7606 OSR routers and 72 Catalyst 6500s spread out in 18 backbone cities.
