I am a fifth-year PhD student and research assistant in Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry at UNC Chapel Hill. My research is centered on constructing and applying large biomedical knowledge graphs to generate discovery hypotheses in areas such as drug repurposing, chemical toxicity, and the biological mechanisms of disease.Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a robust skill set in bioinformatics, data analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration. I am particularly interested in leveraging these skills in the field of translational science, where I can contribute to transforming scientific discoveries into therapeutic interventions that improve patient outcomes.As I near the completion of my PhD, I am actively seeking opportunities in translational science roles that allow me to apply my research experience to real-world healthcare challenges. I am excited about the prospect of working in dynamic, innovative environments where I can continue to learn and grow while making meaningful contributions to medical science and patient care.
