Vtc/Av Technician
Current- Technician for A/V installations and services supporting the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) across the U.S.- DM Certified Engineer – DM NVX® (DMC-E-NVX)- Maintain and support 300+ conference rooms across the U.S. with direct intervention and assistance, often requiring travel- Dispatched as lead to DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) offices multiple times a month to provide onsite fixes and solutions and implementations to complex, high security systems.- Provide Tier 3/4 troubleshooting on all enterprise integrated AV capabilities using Crestron Avia, Crestron Toolbox, and all FBI approved software applications relating to the A/V systems.- Ability to interpret, wire and install engineering documentation packages.- Redlined drawings and documented system as built when updates were made or added.- Troubleshot, diagnosed and fixed failed or malfunctioning equipment.- Staged, tested, and commissioned complex network based AV solution.- Pulled cabling, built structure, mounted displays and installed various field equipment including;VTC systems, cameras, interactive and control hardware.- Learned proper cable management and rack fabrication.- Terminated and soldered various types of connectors.- Assembly of various Audio Visual systems from video walls to conference rooms- Onsite installs of systemsTS/SCI/CI Polygraph
