Systems developer with over 35 years of Microfocus COBOL experience including Dialog System, Panels, Toolbox and Animator mainly on SCO Open Server UNIX (and installation and maintenance of such systems) using primarily Microfocus C-ISAM files. Developed and maintained a varied range of systems including commercial vehicle rental, fleet management, workshop, property management, warehouse management, stock control systems, order processing as well as full supporting accounts software (N/L, S/L, P/L etc). Projects developed from initial user requirements, project specification, complete development cycle, user acceptance testing, implementation, ongoing support and further enhancement and development. Available for contract work as either a mentor, to guide people or be there from the initial specification and see the project to fruition.
