REDI Technologies was spun out of Goldman Sachs and subsequently purchased by Refinitiv.Server side software development in C++ (windows environment) for Allocation Settlement (JSON message from the REDI Front End converted to FIX protocol), Start of Day file importing, End-of-Day reports. C# development for Stock Loan. Java development for client positions drop delivered in JSON records using RESTful API. C++ development on Linux for FIX Protocol based order routing.At Refinitiv, we used GitHub for source control/repository hosting, Jenkins for build and release management, and Chef for Configuration Management. We also practiced Agile Development using JIRA.

InstaQuote was a securities trading platform used by Bank of America’s internal and institutional (Prime Brokerage) clients. InstaQuote was merged with the Goldman Sachs REDI EMS in 2013 to form REDI Technologies. The BofA InstaQuote platform was a Windows based securities trading system. I was the team lead for the FIX team and, as such, worked on all the server side FIX (Financial Information eXchange) applications. These were Win32 or MFC based Visual C++ applications.

Atrana Solutions specialized in the design and development of comprehensive transaction-oriented technology solutions for retailers, financial processors, POS hardware manufacturers, telecommunications providers and other transaction-based businesses. It was purchased by ADS in September 2005. At Atrana, I wrote software for Point-Of-Sale terminals manufactured by Verifone and Omni. I also worked on transaction processing to activate pre-paid phone cards, gift cards, and wireless pins. Our transaction processing solution was a multi-threaded, event driven Windows application written in C++ and leveraged a Microsoft SQL Server database. In addition to the C++ server development, I was responsible for creating the SQL tables, Stored Procedures, and SQL transactions that were required by the server side software that I wrote.
