Jon Monroe Consulting is the North American Representative for Worldwide Logistics (WWL), one of the largest China based forwarders and the 23rd largest global NVOCC. Responsible for connecting select NVOCC’s as partners to the WWL network Jon spends time with U.S. based NVOCC’s needing a one stop shop network in Asia.Jon Monroe Consulting was founded on the belief that the 3rd Party Supply Chain has become increasingly more complex requiring a higher level of expertise. Jon has worked with or for a number of NVOCC’s having run two global NVOCC’s and supporting the growth and development of a major Trans-Pacific NVOCC having opened three of its offices and developing the purchase order management technology. Jon’s expertise cuts across the functional areas of sales, operations and technology. Jon was responsible for the rollout or development of five forwarding systems and four purchase order management systems. While Jon drives projects, he has a team of subcontractors that support scalability requirements on major developments. Have engaged a number of companies including designing and developing the procurement platform for General Motors global parts business while working with Vector. One of key customers was Topocean Group, a fast growing NVOCC where I was intimately involved with the development of TOPOL, the order tracking system as well as a web booking interface to allow factories in China to make their bookings online via the internet. I developed the system, hired and trained the staff and turned order management into a revenue model.

In May, 2021, I was tasked to set up Transfar Shipping in the U.S. I became responsible to set up the U.S. network of ports and terminals as well as handle many of the commercial transactions. Transfar Shipping is backed by Cainaio Logistics, Alibaba and Ant Group, another Alibaba company. It is our vision to develop an end-to-end service for both U.S. FOB customers and the e-commerce industry. We specialize in peel pile and off dock products to move containers off of the terminal quickly in Southern California. We also offer an East Coast & Gulf service calling APMT in NJ, Charleston and Houston. Ran Emery Ocean Services Globally. Oversaw the NVOCC for a multi billion dollar transportation company. Oversaw contract negotiations, sales, and implementation of the operating system. Had regional managers reporting to me in Asia, Europe, Latin America and the United States.

Opened the San Francisco office for Hyundai and went on to become the first American General Manager. In 1988 became responsible for U.S. service contract negotiations and personally handled Target Stores, JC Penney's, and a number of other smaller retail accounts. Developed National Retail plan.
